The VF100 from Village Water Filters is a multi-purpose water filter, ideal for emergency preparedness, backcountry groups, mission trips and humanitarian aid.
This is a special kit which includes the VF100 Point One Micron Filter, VF200 Carbon Based Pre-Filter and Accessory Kit including Bucket Kit. Use the VF100 Water Filter to treat fresh water via tap/faucet, water bottle or bucket/pail using just gravity.
The VF100 delivers 0.1 absolute micron biological filtration, removing 99.999998% of protozoan cysts and bacteria and 99.1% of viruses. Fast flow rate of 0.5 L per minute.

The VF100 delivers 0.1 absolute micron biological filtration, removing 99.999998% of protozoan cysts like Giardia and Cryptospordium, 99.999998% of bacteria like Salmonella, E. coli, Vibrio cholerae and Salmonella typhi (which cause Cholera and Typhoid) and 99.1% of viruses like Hepatitis, rotavirus, norovirus and SARS. For additional protection from viruses (when needed) we recommend treating the filtered water with Aquatabs.
Fast flow rate of 0.5 L per minute.
The kit includes everything needed to attach the filter to any threaded tap/faucet, standard water bottles or plastic bucket or pail. Backwash the VF100 in the field with the included cleaning syringe. Clean the VF200 with a gentle squeeze and rinse.
